We also cater events and have a private dining room. Both need arranging in advance — call and tell us the date, the numbers and what you would like cooked.

How to Reach Pathergatti Road
The Old City rewards patience. Here is the easiest way in.
Head for the Charminar
Every driver and every map knows the Charminar. Use it as your destination rather than our street address — Pathergatti Road runs north from it, and we are about 800 metres along, roughly a ten-minute walk.
Take an auto-rickshaw the last stretch
This is what most regulars do. Autos navigate the narrow lanes far more easily than a car and can drop you at the door.
Or park near the Charminar and walk
Use the paid parking areas around the monument. It is about ten minutes on foot from there, and the walk north through Ghansi Bazaar is part of the experience.
By Metro
No Metro station serves Pathergatti Road directly. Check the current Hyderabad Metro map for the station closest to the Charminar, then take an auto-rickshaw for the last stretch.
About parking
There is effectively no dedicated parking on Pathergatti Road, and the surrounding lanes are congested for most of the day. Plan for this — it is the single thing first-time visitors underestimate.
During Ramadan
The Old City is at its busiest through Ramadan, especially around iftar, when haleem draws very large crowds. Arrive early, and allow considerably more travel time than usual.
Best hours to arrive
We open at 12 noon and close at 1 AM, every day of the week.
Making a day of it
If the Charminar is on your list anyway, our one-day guide to the Old City maps a walking route through the monuments and the bazaars that ends at our door — ordered so you reach us when the kitchen is open.
We Serve Until One in the Morning
Doors open at midday and the kitchen runs late — every day of the week, including public holidays.
